Alm. Brand A/S is a financial services group focusing mainly on insurance. We operate within non-life and life and pension insurance as well as banking. The Group also comprises a reinsurance company, which is in the process of being wound up.
Ownership
The principal shareholder of Alm. Brand A/S is Alm. Brand af 1792 fmba, which holds 56,8 % of the shares in the Group. Alm. Brand af 1792 fmba is a limited liability association. All non-life insurance customers of the Alm. Brand Group automatically become members of the association and, as such, enjoy the rights accorded by the association's rules - but without any obligations.
